From Theory to Transformation: A Sneak Peek at the FutuHRistIC 2026 Workshops
We’ve all been to those conferences where you leave with a notebook full of “big ideas” that somehow never make it past your desk on Monday morning.
At FutuHRistIC 2026, we wanted to move beyond the usual conversations about the future of work and create something far more practical, honest, and hands-on. This November in London, our workshops are designed to be the beating heart of the festival, the place where big ideas meet the real, everyday challenges HR and Communications leaders are facing right now.
These sessions won’t just focus on theory or trends. They’re built to explore the complex, messy, human side of leadership, culture, communication, and change, with actionable insights participants can actually take back to their teams.
Here’s a first look at three workshop sessions that are set to challenge perspectives and reshape the way we lead.
Master the “Age of Listening” with Howard Krais
The term “employee listening” gets thrown around a lot, but how many organisations actually do it well? Howard Krais (Co-Founder of True and the mind behind Leading the Listening Organisation) is joining us to strip away the corporate buzzwords.
This isn’t just a lecture. Howard will be challenging you to look at the “Business Case for Listening.” You’ll dive into how AI is changing the feedback loop and, more importantly, how to identify the invisible barriers, the “noise”, that stops your people from being heard. You’ll walk away with a framework to turn passive hearing into active intelligence.
Navigating the Ethics of AI with Sylvie Delacroix
AI is moving faster than our HR policies can keep up with. Professor Sylvie Delacroix from King’s College London is bringing a vital, human-centric perspective to the tech conversation.
Her workshop focuses on “Productive Uncertainty.” It sounds complex, but the goal is simple: How do we use AI in things like performance reviews without losing the human judgment that makes a workplace thrive? Sylvie will guide you through building “participatory infrastructure”, basically, making sure your team has a say in how the tools are designed, rather than just being told to use them.
Making Change Stick with Allan Morling
We’ve all seen great training programs fail because they didn’t survive the “real world.” Allan Morling, creator of BehaviourShift™, is here to fix that.
Allan’s session is for the leaders who are tired of the “spray and pray” approach to training. He focuses on the gap between delivery and sustainment. You’ll explore the psychological safety needed to actually change behaviour and the specific leadership conditions required to make a new culture stick. It’s practical, reflective, and, fair warning, it might make you rethink how you show up as a leader every day.
Why should you be there?
Because these workshops are designed for the realities leaders are dealing with right now.
The conversations will be open, practical, and grounded in real experiences, giving you the chance to explore ideas in depth and apply them to the challenges your teams and organisations are facing every day.
Every session is built around one simple goal: you should leave with insights, tools, and approaches you can actually use when you return to work on Monday morning.
You’ll also be surrounded by people navigating many of the same changes, from digital transformation and employee connection to leadership, communication, and the future of global work. Some of the most valuable moments often happen through the conversations and shared perspectives in the room itself.
